Today, everyone you invite into your workspace can search every document in that workspace — the model is one shared, cited knowledge base for the whole team. Isolation between companies is absolute: your documents never mix with another tenant's. For teams that need tighter internal separation (e.g., Finance docs not visible to the whole firm), we recommend spinning up a separate workspace per confidentiality boundary; native per-department access controls are on the roadmap for 2026.

Do I need a technical team to use SureCiteAI?

How is SureCiteAI different from just using ChatGPT?

ChatGPT cannot access your private business files, does not provide source citations, and may hallucinate answers. (3) Every cited filename is verified against the documents actually retrieved before the answer is shown — fabricated citations are stripped out automatically. SureCiteAI is a research and triage tool, not a substitute for professional judgment, but the citation-first design makes the answer auditable in seconds.

What happens to our documents if we cancel?

Your data remains accessible during your billing period. After cancellation you can export everything via the dashboard. Once you confirm deletion, every document, vector embedding, chunk, and source file is purged together — the same delete pipeline used when you remove an individual document, just applied workspace-wide. No silent retention, no hidden archive.

Can we export everything we've uploaded?

Yes. Original files are preserved exactly as uploaded and can be downloaded anytime from the documents dashboard. Workspace metadata (users, roles, settings) can be exported on request. We don't lock data in — if SureCiteAI stops being the right fit, you take everything with you.
